They recommend thin bra straps or elastic bra straps.

The dance instructors at the studio recommend the girls wear thin bra straps that are also elastic bra straps with their leotards. The elastic bra straps aren't as restraining for the dancers when they're in class. For the recitals some of the older girls have worn jewelry bra straps so that they don't stand out as much while they're performing. The jewelry bra straps are also elastic bra straps so they don't inhibit their performance either. I think the jewelry bra straps are a nice touch for the recitals.
