Should it wear the jeweled or clear bra straps?

I always have a hard time deciding on which bra straps to go with when I wear my off the shoulder sweaters. Some of them look great with clear bra straps. But the sweater I am wearing tonight looks great with clear or my jeweled bra straps. My friend will be coming over early and I think I will take her opinion on which bra straps to go with either the clear or jeweled ones. If she chooses jeweled bra straps then she will need to decide which color to use. I want to look great but do not want to look cheap when we go out.
